Say the correct B seafaring words

We are so blessed to learn from the teachings via the Ten Rules of the Canoe (developed by the Quileute Canoe contingent for a Northwest Experimental Education Conference in 1990) as we continue to prepare for participation at future tribal canoe journeys in the Pacific Northwest. Its P.S. Rule is:

“P.S. Never, NEVER call CANOE a “boat”. Them’s splashin’ in words, friend. / You might get thrown in the water, or get to dance, to clear the score. ”

For the islanders of the arkipelago currently known as the Republic of the Philippines, there are many important seafaring words that starts with the letter “B” i.e. Bangka, Bigiw, Baruto, Balanghay, Bisaya, etc…. even the root word for life starts with a B ~ Buhay. So be mindful and with respect to our seafaring traditions, say the correct B seafaring words ~ see map with listed vessels below. All for now ~ Leng Leng
