snatched! in a flash

heirloom-like dauis handmade jewelry

with quickness and swiftness of expert snatcher’s hands, it took seconds only, heirloom dauis handmade golden pieces were gone in a flash. it was a sudden snatch! so quick before a breath could be taken, before a mosquito could bite. the golden pieces sacrificed, ears intact, earring holes intact, thankful forever. as i was sitting down inside the jeepney to ramos blvd., my father sitting next to me, on my left side and my mother on the right side. way up front behind the driver’s side we were. enclosed inside. it was just a few minutes ago that my mom warned me of earring snatcher’s in the carbon area of cebu city. she took her earrings off. i did not heed the warning as we were leaving the area. the little blood from my ears dried up easily. wiping off the snatched! negativeness of life with a disposable cleaning handwipe. dear one, i didn’t do anything. i didn’t even see the hands that came from outside the jeepney that expertly snatched up the little things away. i am just thankful for the beings that protected us. i hug back with love. thankful that we are alive, no one else physically hurt. thank goodness my parents are safe and well.  life is still beautiful, just wished i had more flash-like reflexes. m filling up with light and dancing fiercely.
