gathering NON-GMO seeds

When the elements are right, the moments are fertile… ~waway saway

Waway Saway shared that farmers in the talaandig tribal area in bukidnon, mindanao, philippines, are unfortunately planting monsanto seeds as that is what is being promoted and sold. Say NO to Monsanto! fortunately, during his recent california visit he asked to stop by at a local biodynamic farm and a local seed bank with the hope to re-plant heirloom seeds of native plants that may be stored at local seed banks. To donate NON-GMO seeds to Waway and the Talaandig tribe, contact us and help save mother earth and her children. Leny and Cal Strobel gave a wonderful educational tour of the northern california backroads. Leny Strobel, Director of the Center for Babaylan Studies (CFBS) shares about an upcoming conference, Katutubong Binhi / Native Seeds:  Myths and Stories that Feed our Indigenous Soul. CFBS is an organization that seeks to promote all indigenous and spiritual traditions from all parts of the Philippines. Hope to see you at CFBS’s Sept 2013 event.
