sacred numbers, rediscovering and bamboo forests

warm greetings. yesterday we visited a bamboo sourcery in sebastopol, california. i learned a lot about bamboos that was never shared with me before. found out that there are over 1500 species of bamboo. ‘Bamboo was the first PLANT LIFE to return after the atomic bombings in Japan.’ i honor the bamboo and dream of bamboo forests to return. bamboo is  beautiful and sacred. with tonight’s full moon blessings, i send out positive intentions for our journey. thanks to a dear friend, tala, who shared with me wonderful links, i share with you:

bigiw in bohol

these photos were taken from a visit to bohol’s museum. i wish there was more information about the painting as well as where the bigiw came from. unfortunately, no one was available to inquire further.

i googled bigiw and found this link: http://samaloutrigger.lakbayjuan.com/bigiw/index.html
